The popular show is followed by Lost and Friends, still riding high despite the fact that the show has not been aired for a long time.
TV show `24`, which follows the adventures of Los Angeles` Jack Bauer in real time has been named most addictive, a survey conducted among TV fans showed. This show, which unites action and drama, has proved the be a sure shot, at least according to 3,000 subjects, who are the show`s biggest fans.
Kiefer Sutherland, the starring actor, earned a Golden Globe award for his part and the show won a total of six Emmy awards, earning 19 percent of the votes in the poll. The second most addictive show is “Lost”. It did just a bit poorer than “24”, attaining 17 percent of the votes, followed by “Friends” and “Heroes”.
“Sex and the City” finished last
“Wire” came in fifth, while the only entry from Great Britain, “Dr. Who” took the sixth position. The show is followed by the popular “CSI”, “Prison Break”, “The Sopranos” and unexpectedly “Sex and the City” as the last entry of the poll.
Darren Bignell, who conducted the poll on his website, told the Telegraph that Americans love lying down on the sofa and watching TV shows. It is clear, the manager claims, that “24” is a show which successfully combines drama, action and suspense, which marked the viewers go back to it every time.
