Britney Spears' Family Thinks Tour Is Pressuring

Britney plays the first date of her eagerly anticipated `Circus` tour in New Orleans tonight (03.03.09).

Britney Spears' family are concerned her tour is putting "too much pressure" on her.

The 27-year-old singer - who suffered a public breakdown last year - plays the first date of her eagerly anticipated 'Circus' tour in New Orleans tonight (03.03.09), but those close to her are worried the long hours and hectic schedule could be too much for her.

A source said: "Her family is worried this might be too much pressure for her. Is it too soon? It wasn't that long ago that she was falling apart and now the pressure is on and it's a lot.

"It's hard because she is such a pleaser and has always worked hard. When she was younger, she was a perfectionist and went over and over things in her routines to get them just exactly right. She says she is ready, but who is she doing this for?"

However, Britney's aunt Linda Ann Brandon-Kjos insists her family are delighted with her comeback and can't wait to see her perform.

She said: "I am so excited for her, and I wish I could be there. All the family is there and supporting her. I'm sure that she is going to be just fine. I think it is going to be something really special."

Meanwhile, Britney has released the set list for the tour.

The show - which will see Britney become a magician's assistant and be sawn in half - will be split into acts and feature old and new hits, including 'Toxic', 'Womanizer' and 'Baby One More Time'.
