Text

If he has the time and will for the role of doctor Ross, Clooney will delight the producers and the public of the 14 year old series.

The authors of the series E.R. are still hoping that George Clooney will accept their offer and appear in the final episode of the mentioned drama series, we find out from wenn.com.

Clooney played the part of doctor Doug Ross in all of the episodes shown between 1994 and 1999. After leaving the series, he achieved an envious acting career and other roles in numerous films like “Ocean's Eleven”, “Michael Clayton”, “Good Night, and Good Luck” and finally “Burn After Reading”.

The series that was recorded and shown for 14 years is nearing its end. The producers hope that Clooney will surprise them and turn up in the cameo role in the final two hour episode of the series.

“We've talked about it a couple times.  If he stops by and wants to do it, he'll do it” said the author of the series John Wells, adding that Clooney is finishing filming of a movie in Puerto Rico at the moment.
