Croatian Writers Conquer Heidelberg

Heidelberg Stuckemarkt is one of the leading festivals which presents the latest drama accomplishments in German.

Tena Stivicic won the European Author`s award and the Innovative Text award, while Mate Matisic won the Audience`s award at the Stuckemarkt in Heidelberg, a forum for young playwrights and theatre festival. Thus Croatian writers have conquered Heidelberg because they won three out of four awards that are being presented, it is stated in today`s announcement of the Croatian International Theatre Institute Centre.

Heidelberg Stuckemarkt is one of the leading festivals which presents the latest accomplishments in German and is the most important place to promote contemporary drama texts in Germany. This year, it was held from May 2 until 11.
