In his 26 years of life he left an undeletable mark as a person and musician. Tose Proeski broke all records on the Croatian music market.

Macedonian singer Tose Proeski broke all records in popularity and sales in Croatia in 2007.

Unfortunately, what seemed to be the year of his life – a new album on the market, sold out concerts, the recording of an album in English – ended on October 16, 2007 when the singer lost his life in a tragic car accident.

Two and a half months have passed, but Tose has not been forgotten. His album ‘Igra bez granica’ published by ‘Hit Records’ was sold in 40,000 copies only 4 months after its release. The homonymous song by the author Miroslav Rus, toughly keeps the first place in many countries, and became the leading song in the Croatian national top list HR TOP 20. Apart from being first, it has over 1,000 points of advantage on the second, which is a memorable success.

Due to all this, ‘Igra bez granica’ was named song of the year, and Tose Proeski received the deserved title of singer of the year.

The Macedonian singer is the only singer that has ever had 3 songs in the yearly HR TOP 20: ‘Igra bez granica’ is number one, ‘Vezi me za sebe’ third, and ‘Ubijas me usnama’ in the 15th place.

Tose was named best singer of the year 2007 by Media Servis, and this great musician, but above all great man, deserved the title of person of the year.
