The London O2 Arena will soon host the famous rock band Led Zeppelin.
Members of the band Led Zeppelin went their separate ways 27 years ago, but they will reunite at the end of the year to do a concert for 20,000 fans, reports Webindia.
The famous trio - Jimmy Page, Robert Plant and John Paul Jones - will play at the concert. They have not played together since 1980, when drummer John Bonham passed away.
Even though rumours suggest a big concert, this has not yet been officially confirmed and tickets have not yet been released on sale.
Led Zeppelin was founded by Jimmy Page in 1968 after the band Yardbirds had split up. Page called his new project The New Yardbirds.
The band was named Led Zeppelin after The Who drummer Keith Moon's cynical remark, saying that the band would go over "like a lead zeppelin."
They started out as a blues rock band only to develop their own music style in the direction that would later be termed hard rock and heavy metal. Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath are considered to be the first heavy metal groups.
