It is totally logical that the pop queen extended her tour, because of its incredible success.
During the last two years, Madonna’s “Sticky & Sweet” tour has been views by more than two million fans in 58 cities, and will continue in 2009. The new start of the tour will be held in London on the 4th of July, and Madonna will visit 22 cities in the new part of her tour, of which 13 are cities she has never performed in. Madonna will visit Ljubljana on August 20, reports Lupa Promotion.
“This is a first for me. I've never extended a tour before” “I'm excited to be going back on the road, visiting places I've never been and returning to places I love” said Madonna for The Sun.
Besides London and Ljubljana, the concert tour, which has now been declared the most successful ever, will be held in Werchester in Belgium, Marseille, Hamburg, Oslo, Helsinki and Tallinn, and she will visit countries like Romania, Hungary, Serbia and Bulgaria.
A special guest who will join the tour is Paul Oakenfold, who is one of the most important names in the world club scene, and according to the Guinness Book of Records, he is the world’s best DJ.
