Madonna to Play Role of Prince of Wales´ Lover

The queen of pop is delighted with the love story between Edward VIII and Wallis Simpson, and decided to make it a film.

Madonna has revealed that she plans on making a film on Wallis Simpson and her love affair with the former prince of Wales, that has caused a real royal crisis, reports The Sun.

The pop star is so fascinated with the love story that she has decided to take the main role in the film.

Wallis’ romance with King Edward VIII led to a scandal, just like the relationship between Charles and Camilla. The royal family prohibited Edward from marrying Wallis, which he answered by abdicating the throne in 1936 in order to be with his love.

Madonna claims that there are many similarities between her and Wallis, because both are very live Americans that ended up married to Englishmen, and caused quite a stir with it.

Madonna has totally dedicated herself to the new project, and has sent a letter to the British queen, who is Edward’s niece, seeking permission to record the film.
