His next comedy `Whatever Works` will be released domestically by Sony Pictures Classics on June 23.

Woody Allen has his gal.

Naomi Watts has been cast in the writer/director's latest untitled project opposite Josh Brolin and Anthony Hopkins. The film will shoot in London this summer.

As usual, no plot details have been released.

Watts is currently in theaters with the commercial disappointment "The International." Allen is flying high with "Vicky Cristina Barcelona," which has grossed $51 million worldwide and yielded a best supporting actress Oscar for Penelope Cruz on Sunday.

His next comedy "Whatever Works" will be released domestically by Sony Pictures Classics on June 23.
