Chris Noth - who plays Carrie Bradshaw`s husband `Mr. Big` - has hinted producers are `probably thinking` about giving the couple children.
The new 'Sex and the City' film will be released next May.
The second big screen adaptation of the popular US TV series is due to hit cinemas worldwide on May 28, 2010.
Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis are all believed to be reprising their roles.
Chris Noth - who plays Carrie Bradshaw's husband 'Mr. Big' - has hinted producers are "probably thinking" about giving the couple children.
However, Sarah Jessica - who portrays Carrie - has refused to speculate about what the future has in store for the shoe-loving columnist.
She said: "In a million years I'm not going to give you an indication. I want someone to show up that first weekend!"
Cynthia - who plays lawyer Miranda Hobbes - has her owns dreams for the plot.
She said: "I would love to see Miranda and Carrie and Charlotte and Samantha all go off on some wild madcap adventure somewhere."
It was recently claimed some of the new movie will be filmed in London. A source said: "The sequel will include key scenes of Carrie and Big in London, possibly shooting this winter for six weeks. Big loses a lot of money and takes a job in London, living alone in a one-bedroom apartment. Big gets really low and ends up in bed with another woman. After she leaves him Carrie discovers she is pregnant."
The first 'Sex and the City' film was released on May 30, 2008 and raked in $412 million worldwide.
