Pete Doherty and his band the Babyshambles are accused of copyright violation for a song off their latest album.
British rocker, known as the former wild boyfriend of model Kate Moss, was accused of stealing a song from Wayne Kenyon, together with his band the Babyshambles.
- One of the songs from their album - Baddie's Boogie - is based on a composition I penned in 1997 - Kenyon claims.
The tricked musician says he tried contacting the Babyshambles` record label, but there was no reply. Also, he claims guitar player Mik Winthall promised to mention him on their album, but the band was credited for everything.
Not long after, Pete Doherty was also accused of stealing lyrics from the same song, apart from the music, from punk poet Nick Toczeks.
