Who can understand the unruly singer Amy Winehouse better than her equally unruly colleague Pete Doherty?
Pete Doherty decided to boost lonely neo soul diva Amy Winehouse's morale so he wrote her a tune, writes Yahoo! Music.
Babyshambles frontman must be sympathizing with Amy, considering the number of times she has tried to kick her drug addiction. Soon, she may even outdo the untoppable Doherty.
The song is reportedly called "Amy on the Mend" and it was sent to her in a frame and signed "Love, Pete" just in time for her 24th birthday.
London Daily Star reports that the song contains the lyrics: "Amy on the mend, all that passion to spend/Like a paper Boadicea in a battle to the end, the end." Who knows, maybe the future will see a Doherty/Winehouse duet.
