The controversial television show host Jerry Springer has received an opportunity to show his vocal and dance skills in the musical “Chicago”.

Springer has been known to experiment in other jobs, and has written country songs in his spare time, is active in many associations, has tried politics, and has not let his television career suffer.

In the 70s Jerry was chosen to be mayor of Cincinnati, and in the same state he was considering entering the race for senator of Ohio in 2003. He decided not to run because of his responsibilities towards the show, and for the fact that many voters may not be able to see him in such a function due to the nature of his show. His famous colleague Schwarzenegger was not stopped by his image to take the position of governor in California.

A musical has also appeared inspired by his show, called “Jerry Springer - The Opera”, which took many awards, and made a lot of money.
