ZAGREB, Sept 22 (Hina) - Several contemporary Korean films will be screened in Zagreb's Tuskanac cinema next week, and the programme will start with the screening of "Rough Cut" from 2008., directed by Hun Jang, on Monday, 24 September.
The cinema reports on its web site that "last year’s program of Korean films was focused on mainstream productions, while this year’s will take a fresh approach. The film Breathless is the most interesting film in this program. Its director, Ik-joon, who has so far been unjustly ignored in our parts, is comparable to such great Korean filmmakers such as Bong Joon-ho (Mother) and Lee Chang-dong (Poezija)."
All but one film "Samaritan Girl" will be shown with Croatian and English subtitles. "Samaritan Girl" will have only Croatian subtitles.
This programmes which also includes the films "Old Partner", "My Dear Enemy" and "My Mother the Mermaid" runs until 30 September.
