British actress Lucy Gordon committed suicide in her Paris apartment only two days before her 29 th birthday.
British actress Lucy Gordon, who played the part of reporter Jennifer Dugan in `Spiderman 3`, has committed suicide in her Paris apartment only two days before her 29 th birthday, France-info radio reports, without adding any details.
Since her film début in 2001`s `Perfume`, Gordon acted in a dozen more films.
She recently ended shooting a biopic about the late French singer Serge Gainsbourg, where she played his former partner Jane Birkin. The film is due out next year.
Successful actress and model
Apart from acting, Lucy Gordon also did modelling for many years. She is most famous for her role in blockbuster `Spiderman 3`, although she acted in `Serendipity` alongside John Cusack and Kate Beckinsale, `The Four Feathers`, `Serial`, `Frost` and many more.
Before she turned to acting, Lucy was a successful model, who signed a contract with cosmetics home Cover Girl at the age of 15, company which also commissioned Helena Christensen, Nikki Taylor and Tyra Banks.
Lucy was shooting a biopic `Cineman` about Serge Gainsbourg in Paris. She committed suicide on Wednesday, May 20, 2009 in the apartment where she had been living during the shooting.
