The most expensive project in the history of Broadway will premiere in a year`s time.
Action superhero Spiderman will shoot his web before musical enthusiasts in Broadway.
The Spiderman musical premiere is scheduled for February 18 next year at the Hilton Broadway Theatre.
The music and lyrics for the musical were written by U2 singer and guitar player Bono Vox and The Edge. The musical will be directed by Julie Taymor, famous for her work on Disney`s musical “The Lion King”.
The production costs 40 million dollars, which means this will be the most expensive musical in the history of Broadway, the New York Times writes.
So far, the cast has not been announced.
