Stars look naked on 'Men' promo shot
The actors are seen hiding behind a large white board with their bare shoulders showing. The board says only, "All will be revealed ... 9.19.11," the day the CBS show's ninth season is to premiere.
The promo is the first for the new season, which will feature new cast member Kutcher, who was hired to replace Charlie Sheen, the series star, who was fired this year after eight seasons because of his erratic behavior and substance abuse, as well as for disparaging remarks he made about series creator Chuck Lorre. He later made headlines by giving numerous rambling, but highly quotable interviews, and then starred in a touring stage show, which was panned by both critics and fans.
He has been keeping a low profile since the tour ended, however.
CBS has not said how Sheen's character will be written out of the show.
The Hollywood Reporter noted the new promo for "Men" was released a day after Lionsgate announced it had hired Sheen to star in a sitcom based on the film "Anger Management." It was sent to media outlets and appears on an exterior wall of the Warner Bros. studio where the sitcom is taped in Burbank, Calif.
The Season 9 premiere of "Men" will take place the same night Comedy Central is to air a star-studded roast of Sheen.
LOS ANGELES, July 19 (UPI) -- Ashton Kutcher, Jon Cryer and Angus T. Jones appear to be naked behind promotional posters touting the next season of the U.S. sitcom "Two and a Half Men."
