Beyonce`s video for `If I Were A Boy` single was viewed 34 million times, and `Single Ladies` 22 million times!
Many esteemed world musicians have left their mark on YouTube, like Rihanna, The Jonas Brothers, Chris Brown or Soulja Boy. Still, Beyonce is the absolute winner, FoxNews reports.
Beyonce`s video for `If I Were A Boy` single was viewed 34 million times, while her second current video `Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)` was also a YouTube smash hit with 22 million views.
The popularity of Beyonce`s videos, as well as videos by other musicians, just point out the importance of music videos to Internet users.
Still, videos of musicians who are part of the Warner Music Group started disappearing from YouTube in December 2008, because negotiations between WMG and YouTube crashed.
Although music videos initially promoted albums to increase their sales, album sales are suddenly dropping throughout the world, thus music videos and their protection have become important to record labels.
