VIDEO: Mickey Rourke Returns as The Wrestler

Mickey Rourke plays a wrestler who, after several years, returns to the ring, even though it could cost him his life.

The new movie by director Darren Aronofsky, famous for his film “Requiem for a Dream”, was filmed early this year. It was screened at the Venice Film festival where the film won the Golden Lion award. 

In “The Wrestler”, Mickey Rourke plays a wrestler who, after several years, returns to the ring, even though it could cost him his life. His daughter is played by the young actress Evan Rachel Wood and Oscar winner Marisa Tomei plays the love of his life.

The film will start screening on December 17.
