Leo Katunaric was sentenced to two years in prison for embezzling Zagreb Youth Theatre’s 2.7 million kunas during the 90’s.
Leo Katunaric, director and former director of the Zagreb Youth Theater (ZKM), was sentenced to two years in prison for the abuse of position and embezzlment of more than two million kunas.
Katunaric and three of his close associates were indicted for charges that in the late-90s, they made hundreds of student contracts for jobs that were either never done or completed by a third party, paper Jutarnji List reports.
In this way, through these fictitious ZKM contracts, they paid 2.7 million kunas that ultimately ended up in their own pockets.
