A Man Bugged the Police

A man from the town of Turcin arrested, on suspicion that he was illegally wiretapping and recording official police frequency

Police yesterday filed a criminal report against a 36-year old man from the town of Turcin on founded suspicion that he committed a criminal act of unauthorised recording of police officers.

In Varazdin's Police statement it was stated that the suspect was a month ago in the evening hours interfering with communication between police officials on the official Varazdin police frequency. Varazdin County Court issued a search warrant for suspect's house in Turcin and his car. A UKW link of Motorola make was found, which was set on Varazdin police frequency.
