Even though Bale´s colleagues gave him full support, saying that these things occur on set, Bale admitted guilt for the outburst.
Christian Bale’s image has recently been soiled. Remember, the media have been circulating recordings from the new movie “Terminator: Salvation”. False moralists immediately caused a stir because of the words that Bale said to cameraman Shane Hurlburt.
The rest of the film world, starting from Whoopi Goldberg, reacted quite indifferent to that, claiming that it is totally normal and that these situations occur during the filming of each movie.
“It is inexcusable”
Despite support from his colleagues, the actor apologised via the KROQ radio station from Los Angeles, admitting that he acted like a punk, and that there is no excuse for his actions.
He said that he got too heated up with his role and the violent behaviour stemmed from there. He considers the cameraman that he insulted to be a professional that did his job well, and voiced that he solved the disagreements with him fully.
Bale has obviously given the public what they want, and we hope that he has calmed down his conscience with that.
