It has been reported Blake, whose arms were covered in scratches and had a chipped tooth, is now on his way to a rehab centre in Surrey.
Blake Fielder-Civil was released from Suffolk’s Edmunds Hill prison today (05.11.08). Amy Winehouse’s 26-year-old husband – who served less than half of his 27-month sentence for grievous bodily harm and perverting the course of justice – reportedly looked “in good spirits” as he left the facility wearing jeans, a stripy red T-shirt and a trilby hat.
It has been reported Blake, whose arms were covered in scratches and had a chipped tooth, is now
on his way to a rehab centre in Surrey, believed to be the same one that Rolling Stones star Ronnie Wood attended earlier this year.
Amy was not at the facility to greet her spouse as he left, as she is currently receiving treatment for a chest infection at The London Clinic. Blake, 26, was arrested last November after police raided the London home he shared with Amy.
He was taken away by police over charges of a conspiracy to pervert justice through his involvement with a £200,000 plot to fix the trial of pub landlord James King, who he attacked in June 2006. He offered King the money in a bid to get him to change his police statement about the assault. Blake pleaded guilty to the charges and was sentenced to 27 months in jail.
