Bosniacs Ban Ceca From Performing

Text

Swedish Bosniacs do not want war criminal Arkan's widow to perform in Malmo because they think she advocates Serbian nationalism.

The show that the Serbian folk singer should put on in Malmo, Sweden, at the end of the month, has met with fierce opposition from the local Bosniacs. What added even more fuel to the flames was the e-mail that is circulating on certain Bosnian Internet pages, asking people to raise their voices against "the bride of genocide."

The letter also states that Ceca would not have had any success in showbusiness in the Balkans area if it had not been for Vukovar and Bjeljina and all the blood that was spilled. To make the message clearer, a photograph of the singer in the company of Serbian soldiers was published, with the title "Vukovar Chetnik."

In this way, the bitter Bosniacs are also sending the message that all those who show up for the concert will be treading on the graves of all the war crimes victims. 5 thousand people are expected to be at the concert and Ceca is reportedly not yet considering cancelling it.

The main reason for the bitterness is that Ceca has had enough time to distance herself from the crimes, but she has never done it, reports Kurir.
