Drummer Ian Wallace forsake the world of drum sticks and cymbals forever, after a long-standing splendid career.
Ian Wallace, drummer who traveled across the world with bands of Bob Dylan, Don Henley and Bonnie Raitt, and recorded with Stevie Nicks and Ry Cooder, passed away yesterday, due to consequences of laryngeal cancer at the age of 60.
Wallace was born in the English town of Bury, and started to drum for rock bands in the 60`s. Playing with musicians like Crosby, Stills & Nash, Roy Orbison and Brian Eno he realised his present reputation.
He also played with certain jazz bands and formed his project called Crimson Jazz Trio.
Apart from his wife, his mother, father and two daughters outlived him, aol.com reports.
