Fergie Is Adopting A Dog With Her Husband

The pair`s decision to give a dog a new home comes after it was reported they were gearing up to adopt a child.

Fergie is adopting a dog with her new husband Josh Duhamel.

The couple - who wed in a lavish ceremony in Malibu last month – already have dachshunds Zoe and Dylan and are keen to add another pooch to their family.

A source said: “They're looking for something a little bigger, like a golden retriever.”

The Black Eyed Peas singer and her ‘Transformers’ star husband are regularly seen out and about with their dogs – Josh was spotted taking a pet for a check-up at the vet on February 3.

The pair’s decision to give a dog a new home comes after it was reported they were gearing up to adopt a child.

A source said: “They are seriously considering adopting. Fergie isn't ready to put her career on hold to have a child right now, but she knows starting a family is important to Josh and wants to make him happy.

“They decided that adopting is the perfect solution. They can start their family without Fergie having to put her on the back burner.”
