Volkswagen has continued changing the people in charge in the VW Group. The latest news concerns the change in Bugatti leadership. Franz-Josef Paefgen (60) has become the new president and replaced Dr. Thomas Bscher in this position. Paefgen held different positions in Audi since 1980, where he was Chairman of the Board of Management between 1998 and 2002. He became the head of Bentley Motors Ltd. in 2002 and, after Veyron's launch on the market had already become questionable, VW gave him a work task in Bugatti. Obviously, the reward for a job well done was finally forthcoming.
