Girls Aloud have demanded fatty food for their upcoming V festival performances. The British band - who have been widely criticised for their slim physiques - are set to appear at Britain's V festival this weekend and have reportedly requested a wealth of calorific snacks on their rider, including
southern fried chicken, cupcakes, burgers and fries.
An insider told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "It's the most colourful rider we've received in
years. It certainly bests the usual crisps and beer riders from other bands. "If the girls are keen to fill out their figures, this will have them piling on the pounds in no time."
Cheryl Cole - whose increasingly frail appearance has sparked rumours she is struggling to cope since news of her husband Ashley Cole's alleged infidelity broke earlier this year - has requested southern fried chicken, corn bread, sweet potato mash and waffles.
Nicola Roberts has asked for food from McDonald's, including double cheeseburgers, fries, strawberry milkshakes and apple pies. Nadine Coyle - who recently moved to Los Angeles - wants a tray of red devil cupcakes, which are sponge cakes with a fresh cream filling and topped with
strawberry butter icing.
Kimberly Walsh ordered extra hot Jack Daniel's BBQ chicken drumsticks, creamy coleslaw, fajitas and nachos.
Sarah Harding asked for Philadelphia cheese steak sandwiches, sandwiches
with fries and Haribo sweets. The group have also demanded pink champagne and Vitamin water.
