Supermodel Gisele Bundchen took the opportunity to raise AIDS awareness in her photos featured in Elle magazine.
In the March issue of Elle magazine, which will be out on February 5, Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen will be warning some 20 million readers about the great AIDS problem in Africa.
Elle magazine teamed up with the Red initiative, established in 2006 by Bono Vox and Bobby Shriver, which helps raise funds for African AIDS programmes and has collaborated with powerful brands like Gap and Converse, DailyMail writes.
Gisele (28), otherwise the best paid supermodel of 2007, said she always answers charity events, because she saw what poverty was like, growing up in Brazil, and is aware of its consequences in society.
Gisele got engaged to American athlete Tom Brady last month. They have been dating since 3006 and are supposedly planning to get married in the spring in Costa Rica.
