French scientists discovered grape juice has a positive effect to the organism, like moderate amounts of vine.
A group of French researchers of the Pasteur de Strasbourg University announced on Wednesday that grape juice helps just like vine when it comes to the prevention of cardiac diseases.
“It is important to stress that grape juice has the same effect like vine, only without alcohol”- claims dr. Valerie Schini-Kert, author of the study published in the medical journal Cardiovascular Research.
Red vine and certain types of grapes contain high concentrations of polyphenol, which stops production of the protein in charge of many cardiovascular diseases.
Cardiovascular diseases occur because of narrowing of the blood vessels and inability for the blood to flow normally.
Schini-Kert and her team have reached a conclusion how polyphenol activates cells in charge of blood flow and normal blood pressure.
Polyphenol in red vine affects in the same way as it does in grape juice.
