Gwyneth, who made a pact with the Coldplay singer to never discuss their private life, opened up about her relationship.
Gwyneth Paltrow admits her marriage has “issues” but says husband Chris Martin will “kill” her for talking about them.
The ‘Iron Man’ actress, who made a pact with the Coldplay singer to never discuss their private life, opened up about her relationship at a ‘Bent on Learning’ gala in New York.
Gwyneth, 36, is quoted by Life and Style Weekly magazine as saying: “Nothing is as good as it looks. Life is complicated, and there are always issues to overcome. Yesterday, he went to Australia, and I came here - you have to accept that.
"He is going to kill me for talking about this!"
Gwyneth - who married Chris in 2003 and has two children Apple, four, and Moses, two, with him – believes their relationship is strong because they are "very good friends”, but would never say they will be together forever.
She added: "We're brutally honest with each other. Even if, God forbid, we weren't together in 10 years or whatever, I think we're like a family."
