Earlier this month, it was claimed Holly and Criss` relationship had hit a rough patch.
The former ‘Girls next Door’ star and illusionist Criss mutually agreed to end their four-month romance due to their increased work commitments.
A source told E!: “She was very much in love with him and they're still very close friends.
“It was a conflict of schedules. She felt she couldn't devote 100 per cent of her time in Vegas and his career at the expense of her career and her goals.
“It was a tough decision for her to make and come back to Los Angeles and pursue her career. She still has very intense feelings for him.”
Holly, 29, and Criss, 41, had been living together in Las Vegas, but Holly recently moved back in with her family.
The pair were first spotted together last October, shortly after Holly split from magazine mogul Hugh Hefner and moved out of the Playboy mansion.
Earlier this month, it was claimed Holly and Criss’ relationship had hit a rough patch.
A source said at the time: “All she's doing is following Criss around to all of his magic shows, with no legitimate job to speak of. She's still heartbroken and regretful about how things went down with Hugh. “Then she ran into the arms of Criss, but then it's like, 'This is not everything I thought it would be.’ ”
