Jesse James got rehab help from Sandra

Jesse James has confirmed ex-wife Sandra Bullock cared for his six-year-old daughter Sunny while he was in rehab during a court testimony yesterday (12.07.10).

Jesse James - who split from the actress earlier this year following revelations he had cheated on her with several women - appeared in a California court yesterday (12.07.10) for a custody hearing relating to six-year-old Sunny, his child with former partner Janine Lindemulder, and admitted the youngster had stayed with the actress while he was receiving treatment for sex addiction.

During his testimony, he said: "I talked to Janine on the phone before I went to rehab in Arizona. I let her know that she [Sunny] would be staying with her stepmother in Texas."

Former porn star Janine has admitted she worries her daughter loves the 'Blind Side' Star more than her.

In emails to Jesse's sister Julie James England which were filed as court evidence, she wrote: "All Sunny talks about is Sandy, Sandy! Wtf?! (sic)"

The hearing related to Jesse's plans to relocate to Austin, Texas, with Sunny to be closer to Sandra and her seven-month-old adopted son Louis Bardo.

Janine - who was previously jailed for tax offences - is trying to block the move, and claims both Jesse and Sandra have made derogatory comments about her in front of Sunny.

Sunny's teacher Alex Bon gave evidence, claiming Sandra once told her: "Quite frankly, I'm glad Janine is in jail. She can go ruin someone else's life."

She added: "Both Miss Bullock and Mr. James made derogatory comments."

Despite the claims, court appointed attorney Loni Klein has recommended that Sunny remains in her father's care - but suggested the motorcycle entrepreneur undertake parenting classes.

She told the court: "Jesse James is doing a good job being a father to Sunny. Although both parents love Sunny, they do not trust one another. Janine has faced a tough road and has been getting therapy recently but still requires more treatment.

"Mr. James could do with better parenting tools and should attend parenting classes. But in my opinion, at the moment, Sunny should remain in Mr. James' care."

Jesse also has children Chandler, 15, and 12-year-old Jesse Jr. from his first marriage.
