Thirty year old actress, Katherine Heigl, decided to follow her mother’s example and adopt a girl from Korea.

Katherine Heigl, a beautiful doctor from Gray's Anatomy and increasingly popular Hollywood actress, followed her family tradition and adopted her first child from Korea.

Katherine Heigl and her husband Josh Kelley are posing with a recently adopted girl from Korea, Nancy Leigh. The first images of a family were not sold to tabloids, but instead, published on the Heigl Jason Foundation website, which was found in memory of Katherine’s late brother.

Thirty year old actress who gained fame for a role of Dr. Izzie in the show Gray's Anatomy, decided to follow her mother’s example and adopt a girl from Korea.

- I wanted to make sure to marry a man who would understand that this would happen - Heigl said about her plan, which was coined long before her marriage.

It was recently discovered that the actress has decided to adopt a girl with special needs, a 10-month Naleigh, which made the adoption process a lot faster. Heigl, whose career is rapidly advancing, will not appear in the sixth season of the Introduction because she is filming a new movie, Life as We Know It.
