Katie Price has revealed she is trying for a baby with new husband Alex Reid and she can´t wait to get pregnant.

The British model - who married the cage-fighter in Las Vegas last month - is actively trying to conceive and can't wait to get pregnant again.

Katie - who has three children, Harvey, seven, Junior, four, and two-year-old Princess Tiaamii, from previous relationships - said: "We are trying for a baby - I can't wait! We will definitely have children. All our family know and are excited for us. But not now, I'm on my period."

Katie insists she has never been happier since tying the knot with Alex, and a baby will only bring even more joy into their lives.

She added in an interview with UK TV show 'This Morning': "My relationship is 100 per cent right. I don't need a baby to make it right. I'm completely settled. I get excited to go home, I've got no one telling me what to do."

In a veiled criticism of ex-husband Peter Andre, the 31-year-old star thinks her new relationship works because she can be herself.

Katie - who dropped her outrageous Jordan persona when she was married to 37-year-old Peter - said: "I'm 100 per cent myself, I made that mistake before, I changed myself completely for someone. I can just enjoy myself and his company. It's so different. Mine and Alex's lives are completely different than what I had before."
