Kevin Costner´s seventh child due

Kevin Costner is to have his seventh child - his third with wife Christine Baumgartner.

Kevin Costner is to become a dad for the seventh time.

The Oscar-winning actor and director announced he was having his third child with German wife Christine Baumgartner in the summer.

He told German magazine Bunte: "My wife is going to have a baby in June."

The newborn will join brothers Cayden Wyatt, two, and Hayes Logan, 13 months.

The 55-year-old actor has another four children from two relationships - his first marriage to Cindy Silva produced Annie, 26, Lily, 23, and Joe, 22 while son Liam, 13, comes from a brief relationship with Bridget Rooney.

Costner married German model Christine in 2004 after they had dated for four years.

He is looking to a busy few months ahead , as not only will he be welcoming his third child with Christine but also directing action adventure movie 'A Little War of Our Own'.

He will also play a starring role in the film, which tells the story of a sheriff attempting to keep a town from descending into violence in World War II.
