Langham Found Guilty of Child Porn Charges

British actor Chris Langham was found guilty on Thursday of downloading child pornography but cleared of indecently assaulting a girl.

Langham was convicted at Maidstone Crown Court on 15 counts of making an indecent image of a child.

But the 58-year-old actor was cleared of charges of indecently assaulting an underage girl and two counts of a serious sexual offence.

A tearful Langham told the court last week that he was not a a paedophile and that he had been sexually abused as a child.

The BAFTA award-winning comedy actor told the jury that he had been "arrogant" for looking at child porn on his computer and said he realised there was no excuse.
