Leonardo DiCaprio Wants To Have Children

Leonardo, who was famed for his womanising ways, also revealed he is hoping to get married in the near future.

The 'Titanic' actor - who is dating Israeli model Bar Rafaeli - admits he is ready to prove his potential as a father.

He said: "I see these guys, Tobey Maguire, Brad Pitt and Matt Damon with their families, and it reaffirms for me that I definitely want to have a kid someday."

Leonardo, who was famed for his womanising ways, also revealed he is hoping to get married in the near future - if Bar lets him be her husband.

The 34-year-old actor added: "I absolutely believe in marriage. My parents were divorced before I was even born, but that has never bothered me. They are both really cool people and I have enjoyed sharing both their lives rather than having one life."

However, it is unlikely Leonardo will reveal when he pops the question to Bar as he recently admitted he likes to keep his personal life private.

He said: "Defining yourself to the public on a consistent basis is death to a performer. The more you define who you are personally the less you are able to submerge into the characters you do, and people will think, 'I don't buy him in that role.' "
