Medal of Honour, the highest respect a civilian can receive in France, will be given to Clint Eastwood.
Hollywood actor and director Clint Eastwood will receive the Legion of Honour medal. This is the highest French title which can be awarded to a civilian.
Eastwood will be presented with the Medal of Honour on Saturday, in the city of light, Paris. French President Jacques Chirac will preside the ceremony which will be held in the Elysee palace.
Clint, who started his, now age-long career with films such as Dirty Harry, this year has four Oscar award nominations with the film Letters From Iwo Jima. The film was made in Japanese and speaks of the other side of the coin, flag of Our Fathers, which shows the American side.
