Angelina Jolie found inspiration for her new role in the film `Changeling´ in her deceased mother Marcheline Bertrand.
Speaking at the promotion of her new film, Angie started crying with the mention of her mother, describing her as the gentlest and softest woman in the world, reports BBC.
“Her name was Marcheline but we used to call her Marshmallow, as a joke, because she was just the softest, most gentle woman in the world” “She was really sweet and was never angry - she couldn't swear to save her life” said Jolie at a press conference, reports BBC.
The film is based on a real event that speaks of a woman in the 1920s, in Los Angeles, who was fighting for the truth after the disappearance of her son. The character Christine Collins reminded Angelina of her mother.
“But when it came to her kids, she was really fierce and so this is very much her story” she said.
Angie added that she is looking forward to a big family Christmas, and that she and her husband Brad Pitt will most probably further expand their family.
