Radiohead have dismissed the rumours about a deal with Starbucks.
Radiohead have denied claims that they would sign a deal with Starbucks. Thom Yorke and his team of musicians are currently halfway through the recording of the successor to the album Hail To The Thief, released in 2004. This will be their first release since they left the record company Parlophone/Capitol. Recently, there have been rumours that Radiohead would follow in Sir Paul McCartney's footsteps and sell their albums through the coffee king Starbucks. However, the Courtyard Management spokesman declared those stories to be false on the band's behalf.
"Radiohead are currently in the studio working on their next record. They are not negotiating a new record deal with anyone, and will not even consider how to release their new music until the album is finished," said the Courtyard spokesman.
Last week, McCartney confirmed that he had signed the deal with the Starbucks label Hear Music, reports Yahoo! Music.
