Matt Damon says living in an all-female household means he has no control over family life.
Matt Damon has no control over his household.
The 'Green Zone' actor raises three children - Isabella, three, 18-month-old Gia and 11-year-old stepdaughter Alexia - with wife Luciana Bozan and admits being the only male in the family means he is always outnumbered and gets told what to do.
He said: "I live with women and girls so I don't have control over anything!"
Although he sometimes misses some moral support, Matt says his children help keep him grounded and his family is his main priority.
He said: "It's pretty easy to kind of lose your way. I think working consistently with great people is really helpful. Also having kids is really helpful. They kind of disabuse you of the notion of your greatness pretty quickly. There's a routine that you get into with kids that precludes you from going back to your single days. I'm probably more boring than I used to be. I go to bed earlier and I get up earlier."
