Claudia Schiffer served as muse to contemporary artists whose task was to present her in a creative way.

German supermodel Claudia Schiffer, was featured on the cover of the November edition of the Harper's Bazaar magazine. However, this was not just another ordinary cover and a routine task that accompanied their artcles. Harper's offered Claudia to contemporary British artists whose task was to present her in a creative way.

Participants of this interesting experiment included Jake and Dinos Chapman, famous conceptual artists also known as the Chapman brothers, Keith Tyson, Marc Quinn, Jason Brooks, Gilian Wearing, Dexter Dalwood and controversial Chris Bucklow.

The result is Claudia like we’ve never seen before. Photographer Marc Quinn ‘squeezed’ her into a sort of remake of Botticelli’s Renaissance painting Primavera, by showing her as unrealistic beauty resting in flowers.

Keith Tyson went to the extreme by offering us Claudia as a strange creature with seven heads. One of the most interesting works was done by the Chapman brothers, who showed a 39-year-old supermodel in a ‘role’ of delicate 40’s heroine scared by phantom monsters.
