PHOTO: Miss Croatia: I Would Never Wear A Thong

All girls of my age have boyfriends, but I can`t seem to find anyone, Josipa Kusic said, who hopes to find someone soon.

Miss Croatia 2008 Josipa Kusic is a frequent guest of cafes at Zagreb`s Cvjetni Square where she regularly has coffee in the company of friends or girl friends. In this case, it was an unfamiliar young man and as Josipa says, just a good friend. She points out that she would love to have a boyfriend because most of her friends are involved with someone.

Josipa: I wish I had a boyfriend

- I was having coffee with a friend who organises the Miss Zagreb beauty pageant. We were talking when the photographer approached us. He`s not my boyfriend, not even close – Josipa said, adding: - If only I had a boyfriend!

- I wish I had a boyfriend, but it can`t seem to happen. It`s my time, but nothing – said the Imotski born girl, who won the Miss Zagreb beauty pageant. Kusic said she has many obligations, not that she won the pageant, so she has often come to Zagreb in the summer, while lectures at the faculty start in October.

- I hope the professors will have understanding for my obligations because I will be off to the Miss World pageant to South African Republic. The pageant was supposed to have been held in the Ukraine, but it was cancelled – beautiful and simple Josipa said.

Josipa pointed out several times that she dislikes public appearances, but fashion shows come with the job. She wore Lisca`s latest lingerie collection.

- I have no problem wearing lingerie if it`s decent, some girls wore thongs, but I would never wear them. No way! – Josipa said.

Seeing how the lovable Imotski girl won over the people of Zagreb with her simplicity and honesty, people recognise her in the street and she has positive experience from trams.

People find it odd to see a Miss in trams

- People look at me funny when I`m on the tram, they examine me. I guess they think Misses don`t use public transport, but I just enrolled into driving school – Josipa said.

Humble Josipa usually hangs out with her friends and regularly skips the IN places.

- So far I have not had unpleasant experiences because I don`t do anything bad. I live my life like I`ve lived it before and that`s that – Miss Croatia concluded.
