No campaing is excessive if it helps bring people to the theatres. Everything about the Silver Surfer is fascinating.
The movie Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer is getting closer to its release date and this is certainly evident in the accompanying promotional campaigns. Alongside the standard load of trailers, teasers, new stills and minor scandals, the company Twentieth Century Fox has taken things a step further: they ordered 25 cent coins to be made with the figure of the Silver Surfer on the flip side.
They will be a perfectly legal form of payment, but whoever finds one will also have many nice possibilities, gifts, and surprises. 40,000 pieces will be made (i.e. 10,000 dollars), stored in trucks painted (silver, naturally) just for the occasion and scattered across the USA.
The movie will have its world premiere in London on June 12 and arrive to other cities several days later. And now the most anticipated thing: the PHOTO GALLERY of the latest movie stills.
It does not look bad, does it?
