PHOTO: Who “Remade” The Beatles

In the sea of song remixes, the remade covers of Beatles’ albums have found their place. The “worst off” was “Let It Be”.

The influence of music from The Beatles does not have to be analysed in detail, and it would be hard to name hundreds of remixes of their songs, the recycling of their style, and the unbelievable number of fans they have. On the other hand, it was not only their music which ended up on thousands of albums of today’s popular bands, but their covers are also maximally exploited, copied and edited in honour of the great four.

Amongst others, Frank Zappa and the Simpsons have used their, according to many, most influential album “Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band”.  The simple design of the album “Second” was used by Yo La Tengo, whist the Talking head “borrowed” two of their albums – “Let It Be” and “A Hard Day’s Night”. The record “Abbey Road” was played with by the Peppers, and Booker T & MGs shaped their release in honour of the Beatles.

The mentioned “Let It Be” has lived through many foreign modifications, and even one from Croatia. The evolution of that legendary album can be seen in the PHOTOGALLERY.
