Rakitic’s Girlfriend: He Didn’t Tell Me He Left Me

Tatjana says she still does not know that she and Ivan Rakitic have broken up and is convinced they are still in a relationship.

Croat-born Tatjana Batinic, a former Miss Austria, contacted Javno to say that she and Germany’s Schalke football player and Croatia international Ivan Rakitic have not split up. Since the football player has stated that they are no longer together, obviously the couple are in trouble. Perhaps Tatjana did not get the message. 

- Where did you get that Ivan Rakitic and I broke up? I know nothing about that. I hope that in the future you will only publish the truth – Tatjana wrote to us, although Rakitic’s had been taped

- It was brief, but sweet. Unfortunately, I have to reveal that I ended things with Tatjana. But I`m not sad, I`m moving on. We had too many obligations and it just didn`t work. I`m single again – Rakitic told Javno.

Cannot or does not want to understand? 

It seems that Tatjana either does not want or is incapable of understanding that Rakitic is young and does not want to commit. Perhaps it was the fact that they had a long-distance relationship that was crucial.

Tatjana is 22 years old and was born in Vienna where she taught religious classes and is studying journalism. Her origins are in the village of Misa from Bosnia’s Livno where her friends organised a celebration when she won at the Miss Austria pageant.

The couple met through mutual friends. After meeting several times, they exchanged telephone numbers and went out for a drink. After a while their friendship turned into a romance. When Ivan did not have a lot of obligations, he would stay with her and sometimes she would stay with him, but it looks that there were too many strenuous trainings to keep the relationship alive.
