Robbie Williams And Musical

Text

Educated by the Take That musical, Robbie Williams is getting down to business with “Hello Sir” musical.

Robbie returned from a rehab clinic less than two weeks ago, and he already has his plate full. He took on writing his first musical these days and entered a race with former Take That colleagues, who are also writing a musical about their own glory days.

Story of the musical has mostly to do with his debutant album “Thru A Lens” and a hidden song about teacher who made fun of a boy named Bob because of his dreams of pop-stardom. Robbie will be played in the musical with the working title “Hello Sir” by his 33-year-old friend, room-mate and godfather Jonathan Wilkes, famous for his guest performance in “Me And My Shadow”.

Anonymous source forwarded into the entire production said that “Hello Sir” will be an abundant musical, like a cross between “Billy Elliot” and “Mamma Mia”, portraying Robbie’s path to stardom, embroidered with loneliness and sadness. Coming out date is not familiar, but Robbie is working at full throttle in Los Angeles.

Last year, he announced two albums even for 2007, but it is not sure if he will manage to publish anything until next year with the musical obligations. Allegedly, the first edition will be a rock studio album, still untitled, produced by Mark Ronson, while the second one will be a sequel to the compilation “Swing When You’re Winning”, possibly entitled “Let’s Swing Again”.
