Announcements and rumours about a possible Led Zeppelin reunion turned out to be false.

Robert Plant has mercilessly shot down rumours about a possible Led Zeppelin reunion for a memorial concert in honour of their late record company boss Ahmet Ertegun

The announcement was made at the beginning of the week, suggesting that Plant, Page and Paul would team up with Bonham's son Jason to honour Ahmet Ertegun, the founder of Atlantic Records, at a special concert in London. An unnamed source said:

"Page, Plant and Jones spoke and agreed to do the memorial concert. They are waiting for a definite date. And no one can quite believe it, but during discussions about the concert they all gave the green light to a tour if it all does well and they don't all fall out."

However, at a press conference for the Greek Rockwave Festival, Plant claimed that he had heard nothing of the kind and joked saying that they could not get enough doctors if such a tour were to take place.

Croatian fans can look forward to seeing Plant on July 13 on Prokurative square in Split.
