S. E. Bextor Baby Boy Born Nine Weeks Early

This is the second pregnancy drama for Sophie and her husband - The Feeling bassist Richard Jones.

The 'Groovejet' singer - who was not due to have the tot until April - gave birth to her 2lb 2oz son after being struck down with the potentially ife-threatening pregnancy illness pre-eclampsia.

Sophie's mother - former 'Blue Peter' presenter Janet Ellis - revealed:" Sophie has just had her second little boy. He was early, nine weeks early, but he is doing fine. He is doing very well."

Sophie had an emergency caesarean operation at 28 weeks while carrying her first child Sonny, now four, after developing the illness.

The 29-year-old singer - who recently revealed she had taken up karate during her pregnancy - predicted she was going to have another son. She said: "I don't know why, but I think I'm going to have another boy."
